Standard transfers to your bank account land as soon as the next business day at no cost. If you need funds sooner, instant transfers are available for a 1.5% fee per transfer.

The software is genuinely free on the Free plan, with no monthly fees, no setup fees, and no hidden charges. You pay processing fees when you make a sale, and you buy hardware. Paid plans exist for businesses that need advanced inventory management, restaurant tools, or booking features, but nobody is forced onto them.
It depends on how you sell. A mobile service business may only need a Square Reader and a phone. A café is usually well served by a Square Terminal or a Square Stand. A busy retail counter typically wants a Square Register. Restaurants often combine a Register at the front, Square Handheld units on the floor, KDS in the kitchen and a Square Kiosk for self-ordering. We will spec it with you rather than guess.
Square offers an offline payments mode that lets you keep accepting card payments during an outage, subject to Square’s own limits and terms. It is a safety net rather than a substitute for a solid network, which is one of the things we look at during installation.
Yes. Square for Retail and Square for Restaurants are separate configurations of the same platform, and Armagh has access to the whole Square product line across both. If you operate a hybrid concept like a bakery with a café, a winery with a shop and a dining room, we will help you decide which configuration fits.
If it’s not, we will say so. Square POS is excellent for a wide range of businesses, but operations with complex tax rules, deep supply chain requirements, complex integrations at scale, or enterprise-grade reporting are often better served by Catapult Retail POS. We sell both, so the advice you get is about your operation, not our inventory.
